This WWW-site for Prior-studies should provide useful information for anybody interested in the life and thought of A. N. Prior, and in temporal logic in general. The bibliograhical data are more complete than what has hitherto been available, and all the material in the boxes is described here, although in some cases quite briefly.
However, the site is unfinished in the sense that much of the material has not been studied thoroughly as yet. For instance, while parts of the correspondence are fairly well described, other parts are merely mentioned with the barest data. Some unpublished papers are described in detail, while for others only title, number of pages and an approximate dating are given. Thus the material is presented somewhat unevenly, with much remaining to be done. Which should not detract from the usefulness of the information which is here.
Users will also find overlaps between different parts of the information here given. In general, when information is reduplicated in two or more places, this is because it seems desirable to have it ready at hand in each place. Linking can go too far: for instance, the information on which the dating of one item is based may be used (almost) identically for the dating of another item, too; in this case it may be unreasonable to force the user to link from the first item to the second one, or conversely. Similar reasons apply wherever information is reduplicated.
